BYLAWS OF THE INTERNATIONAL IMMUNOLOGICAL MEMORY AND VACCINE FORUM

ARTICLE I. Name
This society shall be called The International Immunological Memory and Vaccine Forum (“IIMVF”).
ARTICLE II. Foundation
The foundation date of the IIMVF is May 20th, 2012.
ARTICLE III. Location
The IIMVF is located in the Graduate School of Medicine, Chiba University

ARTICLE IV. Aim
The Aim of the IIMVF is to provide an interactive and simulative environment for promoting the exchange of new dogma, ideas and data among both young and established immunologists interested in the areas of immunological memory and vaccine studies in the broad sense, including basic to clinical immunological studies and translational research for vaccine development with an international perspective. The IIMVF holds a general meeting once a year (or as often as needed) as a global platform, in order to promote; 1) information exchange and mutual professional and social friendship among junior researchers, and between junior and senior researchers, 2) dissemination of the findings of junior researchers’ studies to the world community by making presentations and discussions in the presence of world-class research leaders, 3) industry-academia joint research at the international level, and 4) the securement of research funds.
ARTICLE V. Activity
An annual international meeting shall be held concurrently with a meeting of immunological societies or an international symposium.
ARTICLE VI. Organization
The IIMVF appoints following core members.
  1. Chair of Core Members2 persons
  2. Core MembersAround 20 persons
  3. Chairs of Core Members are chosen from the Core Members.
  4. The Committee of Core Members deliberates and makes all decisions regarding important items on agenda.
ARTICLE VII. Membership
An applicant, who agrees with the aims of the IIMVF, shall be granted membership subject to approval by the Committee of Core Members
ARTICLE VIII. Administrative Cost
  1. The costs and expenses for the annual international meeting shall be mainly funded by registration fees and donations. The Chairs of Core Members shall also endeavor to raise funds as far as necessary in order to successfully hold the meeting.
  2. The fiscal year of the IIMVF shall start on January 1st and end on December 31st . The Chairs of the Core Members shall report on financial records of the IIMVF.
  3. Toshinori Nakayama, Chair of Core Members, shall administrate a bank account for the operation of the IIMVF.
ARTICLE IX. Amendment of the Bylaws
All amendments of the Bylaws shall be carefully deliberated and approved by the Committee of Core Members.
ADDITIONAL CLAUSE
Any items not specified in the Bylaws shall be discussed and decided by the Chairs of the Core Members.
